What is the difference between a Persian and a Himalayan? +

Persians come in a wide range of solid and patterned colors, while Himalayans are always color-pointed — a lighter body with darker coloring on the face, ears, paws, and tail — and always have vivid blue eyes. Both share the same body type, coat length, and gentle temperament.

What is the difference between an Exotic Shorthair and an Exotic Longhair? +

Both share the same round face, compact body, and sweet temperament as Persians. The only difference is coat length — Exotic Shorthairs have a dense, plush short coat, while Exotic Longhairs carry a longer, flowing coat similar to a Persian's.
